Nose Surgery
A nose in harmony with your face — and your breathing
What is it?
Rhinoplasty reshapes the size, form and proportion of the nose and, when needed, corrects the inner structures to make breathing easier. Our aim is not a nose that looks 'done', but a natural harmony that looks as if it had always been there.
Who may be suitable?
- People with a hump on the bridge
- A drooping, wide or undefined tip
- A crooked or asymmetric nose
- Breathing difficulty (deviated septum, enlarged turbinates)
- Dissatisfaction with a previous operation
- Adults whose facial growth is complete and who have realistic expectations
Procedures
Planning before surgery
- Examination & analysis
Inner and outer structure, skin thickness and airway are assessed.
- Discussing expectations
Your target profile is clarified together using photos.
- Personal surgical plan
Technique, combined procedures and recovery are explained openly.
What to expect during recovery
- Individual plan
Each procedure detail lists approximate duration, anaesthesia, stay and return to work. Combined procedures may change the plan.
- Assessment and follow-up
One or two checks are planned before departure according to the return date. A flight report is provided; fitness and timing for travel require medical assessment. Anti-embolism stockings form part of the care plan.
- Care plan
Absorbable sutures are used; routine stitch removal is not planned. Scar cream is started after wound closure at the time advised by the surgeon.
- When can sport resume?
General activity plan: gentle walking in week one; light exercise after week two; regular sport after month one; weight lifting after month two. Every stage requires review and surgeon clearance; some procedures need longer restrictions.
- Care plan
Nasal spray is used as prescribed. Glasses are avoided for the first two months; subsequent use depends on review.
