Liposuction & Buttock Surgery

Remove stubborn fat and give your buttocks a natural fullness

What is it?

Liposuction removes fat that resists diet and exercise to reshape the body. In suitable patients the removed fat can be transferred to the buttocks and hips for a fuller, balanced silhouette.

Who may be suitable?

  • Close to ideal weight with stubborn fat
  • Fat on the abdomen, waist, back, arms or legs
  • Wanting a more defined waist-to-hip ratio
  • Hip dips
  • Good skin elasticity
  • Good general health

Procedures

Planning before surgery

  1. Body analysis

Fat distribution and skin elasticity are assessed.

  2. Choosing areas

Areas to treat and to enhance are agreed together.

  3. Choosing technique

VASER, 360° or HD techniques are planned individually.

What to expect during recovery

  1. Individual plan

Each procedure detail lists approximate duration, anaesthesia, stay and return to work. Combined procedures may change the plan.

  2. Assessment and follow-up

One or two checks are planned before departure according to the return date. A flight report is provided; fitness and timing for travel require medical assessment. Anti-embolism stockings form part of the care plan.

  3. Care plan

Absorbable sutures are used; routine stitch removal is not planned. Scar cream is started after wound closure at the time advised by the surgeon.

  4. When can sport resume?

General activity plan: gentle walking in week one; light exercise after week two; regular sport after month one; weight lifting after month two. Every stage requires review and surgeon clearance; some procedures need longer restrictions.

  5. Care plan

A compression garment or suitable support/band is used for approximately 4–6 weeks, as individually instructed. After BBL and hip dips, direct sitting and pressure on the grafted area are avoided for approximately 4–6 weeks, with positioning and support as instructed. Returning to work does not end sitting restrictions.
